Should You Use a Camping Gear Hauler?

You should think about camping gear hauler once you have decide to go for outdoor camping. There are two different types of haulers. One is the type you actually attach to your vehicle. The other is more like a piece of luggage that is carried or wheeled. The type of hauler you should get depends on how much gear you have. For a family with lots of equipment, try a hauler that attaches to your vehicle. This type of device is different from a camper or trailer because it cannot be lived in, but it can offer ample room for all your stuff.

A hauler can be loaded wtih lots of space instead of loading your car with necessary accesories. For the average family camping trip, you will need a tent or tents, sleeping bags and/or cots, a cooking stove or grill, cooking utensils, camp chairs, clothing, food, water, hygiene products, lanterns, matches, and any comforts of home you want to bring. Creature comforts are especially important if you are traveling with children. Even in the majesty of the great outdoors, youngsters can get bored. This is where a handheld game, coloring book, board game or other diversion can come in very handy.

You will find lot of types of hauler in the market. One good example is the Kelty Cache Hauler, designed for big loads that are carried on your back. It features 3450 cubic inches of capacity and weighs around nine pounds when empty. It features an optional pull out blaze orange rain cover, top panel loading, padded waist belt, hydration bladder pocket and more. It's perfect for the hiker who needs to bring lots of stuff along on their trek through the wilderness. A personal hauler of this nature costs around $200. There are various sizes and brands available at most every camping supply store.

Whenever you do camping with your family or friends; a hauler is the best option for you to make camping a lot easier. If you have never camped or haven't camped in awhile, the amount of gear you actually need may surprise you. Even if your goal is to get back to nature and experience life in the wilderness, you will still need the right equipment to keep you safe and comfortable. With the right device to haul and store all your gear, your trip will be a lot more manageable and enjoyable.
